Are You A Cow or a Rhino

All too often people tend to stay where they are comfortable.  Never roam outside their area.  Stick to the same routines.  Travel the same roads.  Associate with the same people at the same places.  Eat at the same places and live their lives the same day after day.  Nothing changes.  And why not?  Because you are familiar and comfortable in those surroundings.  So therefore, you are a COW.  Someone who is content in grazing in the same pasture with a herd of others just like you.

Now, only a select few like to venture into the jungle.  These people stray from the traditional mundane way of life seeking adventure.  Traveling unkown territory, creating new paths, joining up with different people and trying new foods, new ideas and creating excitement in their lives.  The thrill of taking charge of their destiny.  These people are RHINOS.

Lets put these two catagories into perspective.

If you have wondered about a home based business, you first need to decide what you are.  A Cow or a Rhino.

If you see yourself as a Cow, then you are content and perhaps a home business may not be suitable for you.  You are happy with your life, job and the income you make.

If you are a Rhino, then a Home business is exactly what you need and suitable for you.  You want more out of life, more adventure and more money.

Many people often wonder what it would be like to have their own business, but only a few will attempt it.  It’s okay to dream, but unless you take direct action to make that dream come true, you’ll never achieve it.

I am looking for those Rhino’s that are willing to work at achieving their goals.  Willing to be adventurous and take risks.  Willing to travel a different path and meet new people.

Rhinos are the people that don’t give up or give in.  They set a goal and work towards that goal with new paths in front of them.  They are the ones that become successful because they are determined to be successful.

Now, I can't take credit for this, but Jerry Clark had a great CD that discusses in full the Cow or Rhino analogy.  You can learn more about Jerry by picking up "The Art of Designing Your Destiny".

So, have you decided what category you are in?  Cow or Rhino?

How We Approach Life Directs The Actions We Take In Life

Everyday we have many decisions we have to make.  We start with the basics of what to wear and what to eat.  Now we decide what we do for the rest of the day.  Do I go to work?  Do I  hang out after work? Do I go shopping?   If I go shopping what do I want to buy?

These are your routine questions and decisions that we must all make to get through the day, but there is one question that doesn't come up often, but should.

What do I want out of life?

We can take our everyday approach to the simple decisions and get by, but if you don't take a serious look at what you want out of life, then you are going to never grow personally or financially.  You have got to approach life with ways to always be moving forward and thinking positive that you can "Achieve" your goals.

If your actions are based upon your attitude and approach, in this case being self-employed, you feel you don't need to advertise, you don't need to call people back, you don't need to work on your skills, then you will not reap the rewards and you have let yourself down which results in your success ultimately your pocket creating a failing business.  This is because your "approach" directed your actions to "not" do anything to further yourself.

A great person whom I just watched on Youtube, Tony Robbins, should help you put things into perspective.

After you have viewed the video, ask yourself "How is my approach in life directing the actions I take in life?"

Great way to analyze yourself and see what areas you think you can improve upon.

I hope this gives you direction and gets you on the path to
fulfilling your dreams!

If you often wonder, if there is a business for me that is profitable and fun, then go to www.newmoodscents.com and check out the video presenatation.
